Our newly-refurbished cottage adjacent to Ye Olde Fleece Inn, offers luxury accommodation for up to eight people. Beautifully furnished throughout, it comprises three good sized bedrooms, two of which can be configured as either twin singles or king size doubles, plus a living room with a high-quality sofa bed.
ABOUT YOUR STAY
The cottage sits in the heart of the historic market town of Kendal and is within walking distance of the many boutique shops, artisan coffee shops and quirky restaurants that the town has to offer.

For those that like to get out and explore, the cottage is the perfect base for reaching all corners of the magnificent Lake District National Park. Walking, climbing, horse riding, cycling… whatever your passion, your adventure is out there. Muddy boots, muddy tyres and muddy paws are all very welcome at the Fleece!
After a busy day exploring guests can return for a soak – we have two well-appointed bathrooms, one with a lovely big bath – and see where the evening will take them.

For those that want to enjoy a cosy night in, the cottage offers a super flatscreen TV, which has Netflix and Amazon Video included for free, and a fully-equipped kitchen to prepare meals. For those who want to venture further afield, we can recommend a range of great pubs and restaurants across the region. Of course, we would love to offer you a very warm welcome in Ye Olde Fleece Inn if you choose to come and sample some of our fantastic, locally-sourced pub food.

Our accommodation is perfect for friends, families, outdoor adventurers, business or solo travelers and visitors with dogs. We can even provide dog blankets and bowls (and shampoo!) if required, to make sure your four-legged friends also get a first-class stay!

The Stables has its own private parking, which can be accessed through one of Kendal’s historic yards off Highgate, the town’s high street.
